La Dolce Vita

Waking up next to you, feeling the warmth of the sun through the thin curtains. Taking my time, slowly waking up, before jumping into a summer dress, heading down for breakfast. Croissants, pancakes with Nutella and fresh fruit fills my plate and the coffee smells heavenly next to me. I smile, eat and enjoy starting my day with you.

Afterwards, we take our towels and spend the rest of the day by the beach. I feel the sun warm my skin, I get lost in my book and eventually fall asleep to the sound of the waves. All with you right next to me. After a while you wake me, you want to swim. We jump in, kiss, swim and let the water cool us down.

After a long day, we head back to our room, with salty skin and sun-kissed hair. I dress up in my favorite dress, walk into town and I realise I love the way you look at me while we eat our way through yet another pasta and enjoy that cold class of white wine. Walking hand in hand back to our room, falling asleep happy and full, excited for another day.

I don’t even know where to begin, but WOW feels like the best opening line!

I just had the most magical and dreamy vacation to beautiful Italy. We spent the first 6 days in Camogli, followed by four days in Santa Margherita Ligure, eating tons of pasta, drinking wine every day, swimming in the clear, blue water, reading and relaxing to the fullest. I seriously have a hard time being back, adjusting to the 13 degrees and rain here in Stockholm.

Lucky me can dream myself back through the pictures. I need to warn you; I will be posting many over the next couple of days.
